Wil obtained "hands on" entrepreneurial experience in creating and working for several start-up companies and has a broad international background and network. He has past experience as investment manager and Business Development executive in Life Sciences companies. Wil holds a M.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH) in Zürich, Switzerland. He has managed an early stage Life Sciences investment fund and was involved in the creation and incubation of over 10 Biotech companies in various capacities. Wil also has experience in patenting and licensing issues in the Life Sciences.
